Meet Dr. Persaud
I was always fascinated with science and my caring nature drew me to medicine from since I was in elementary school. By college, it was already in my heart to go to medical school and my passion lead me to go to one of the best medical schools in the world in my eye. In the heart of Caribbean, I set sail away from my home in New York to embark on my love for medicine. It was adventure and I never regretted the move. Not only did I learn fascinating things about the human body, I learned about a new culture and became more appreciative of the basic things in life. I enjoyed the simple life and how happy the Grenadians lived. I adapted the very courteous way they greeted everyone with "good morning' to everyone they came across and I do the same to this day.
Along the way of practicing medicine, I realized how much I loved learning about my patients in addition to helping them become healthier. I realized I truly love what I do because I get to utilize the part of me that wants to nurture others. It's more than just prescribing medication.
Preventive Care is my passion. Let's optimize your diet with the right foods that will help heal you
and protect you from high blood pressure or diabetes. I love using food as medicine!
On my time off, I love enjoy being out with my 2 girls, Sophia and Ava, whether it;s going for a bike ride or baking cupcakes with them. Also enjoy traveling, cooking, music, shopping and movies.
